Nestled between rolling meadows and forests, this charming house is located at the end of a dead-end road. A wonderful place to retreat and enjoy French life to the fullest. The little nest for both of you!
The house
There is an entrance hall with a toilet. On the right-hand side is the kitchen with the dining table as its centrepiece. There are many cupboards and worktops around it. It is heated by a Scandinavian Lotus stove. A few steps higher is the living room with its fireplace, beamed ceiling and French doors to the terrace. The attached veranda also ensures that the rooms are surprisingly light. The Polyflam system is installed in the fireplace, providing pleasant warmth during cold periods. To the left of the entrance is a bedroom with French doors to the terrace and a very spacious walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom, equipped with a bathtub overlooking the garden, shower and washbasin, is also very spacious! From the kitchen, there is a staircase to a mezzanine: a perfect place for a study.
Park garden
The living room and bedroom offer direct access to a spacious north-facing terrace. A few steps further and slightly lower down is a beautiful swimming pool (10 x 4.5 m) with a terrace, surrounded by flowering shrubs and trees. On the south side of the house, there are also several benches for enjoying the garden. There is a canopy where you can enjoy breakfast, drinks, reading or dinner, depending on your needs.
The garden covers more than 1.1 hectares, so there is plenty of space for various terraces and a vegetable garden. There are various trees, fruit trees and flowering shrubs. The grounds are surrounded by large trees, but there are certainly views across the rolling landscape.
Outbuildings
Adjacent to the house is a barn that is used as a studio and exhibition space. In the section known as the “étables” (former animal pens), a guest room with a bathroom has been created. There is a separate area for the washing machine, freezer, etc. Adjacent to this is a carport and an area for wood storage. Next to the house is an old bread oven, which is now used as a wine cellar.
