Adjacent to the house is a large barn (13.5m* 7m) with wide double doors. Ideal for vehicle storage. Plenty of space remains for other storage or hobbies. Next to the barn is a covered workshop and covered storage for a car. 

Besides the views, this house has the great advantage of having been renovated in 2018, the house has a new roof and is connected to the municipal sewer system.

Outdoor living
The low-maintenance garden features 20 fruit trees, including apple, pear, cherry, plum, peach, fig and walnut trees, as well as raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, blackberry and kiwi. All pies, jams, juices and smoothies can be made from fruit from our own garden! There are also stone borders with flowers.

In front of the house is the former bakehouse, now used as a laundry room. But can also be put to good use for pickling fruit and vegetables from the garden......

A chicken run and space for vegetable plots are at the back of the house. The old pigsty now serves as a stable for the horse. The field which has a track from the stable is just under an acre and quite suitable for a horse or other animals. 

The plot faces due south. The land slopes gently. Ideal for keeping a horse, donkeys or other small livestock!

Amenities and surroundings
In the village is an Auberge where there is also a dépôt de pain. There is a Mairie and a public school. The nearby villages of Saint Germain les Belles and Masseret are slightly larger and have more amenities with a bakery, local shops, butcher/traiteur, a garage, pharmacy, a restaurant and a café. Both villages also have a beautiful swimming lake with a cordoned-off beach area. Around the lake are several playgrounds for children and in Saint Germain les Belles there is also a (public) tennis court. A Camping Municipale is not lacking in either village. For the supermarket, drive a little further to the village of Magnac Bourg or to Uzerche, which otherwise has all amenities. The station in La Porcherie has a good connection to the cities of Limoges and Brive, but these cities can also be reached by car within 45 minutes.
