Stunning view on 7,2 acres

Paradise on a mountain In a very beautiful part of the Limousin with winding roads, meadows and some rear cottages a private path leads to this house. With its own forest behind the house, a pond fed by 2 sources and a meadow in front of the house, the whole ticks many boxes. Because of its location on the mountain, the terrain is obviously sloping. You’ll enjoy the stunning view from the terrace, from the house and at various spots on the terrain. The house has recently been completely renovated. The ground floor consists of a kitchen with utility room and toilet. The living room has a traditional stone fireplace and is very charming with its stone and sleek white walls. The entrance hall is an exception to many French houses where you usually step directly into the living room. In the heating room there is a wood-burned central heating and a solar boiler for the hot water. Very good energy-rating! Access to the barn from the heating room. On the first floor is a large room with toilet with access to the floor in the barn. In addition, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. A third bedroom with a bathroom, a sitting / office space and a mezzanine is also accessible from outside and therefore easy to use as a guesthouse. The barn area consists of an upper and lower floor. Downstairs is now used for storage and upstairs for the machines. In addition, there is a hangar and a separate shed on the other side of the house. The animals have their own shed and storage for the hay. The ‘kota’ (wooden chalet) that consists of one round room with a small bathroom is ideal for meditation, workshop or maybe even as a guest room? The plot covers 7,2 acres, of which 2,5 acres of meadow. You won’t find a lot of similar properties with this beautiful view and the atmosphere!

Chamberet

Chamberet is a lively village providing all necessary services. The village has a small supermarket, bakery, post office, pharmacy, hairdresser and several restaurants. And off course a bar/tabac for your daily journal. Every second Saturday of the month a petit marché (market) is held at the main square. In summer this market is held every week. The larger village Treignac is about 10 kilometers away. Treignac is an old town with its lovely winding streets, lake and nice restaurants. It also provides a large supermarket. It is an attractive area for hiking, cycling, fishing or parapente. The villages of Brive and Limoges are to be reached in 45 minutes drive. Both cities have an airport with (nearly) daily flights to the UK.
