Hard work will be rewarded on this beautiful spot

Some imagination is needed to see the potential in this project. But a good start has been made to turn this barn into a beautiful house or to finish the work started in the old house. The cottage could also be turned into a gite and the barn into a main house. The roofs have already been renewed and some floors have been replaced by concrete. You also need imagination outside to see the possibilities of the plot. Tall shrubs, trees and building material lying around now still take away the view of the surrounding landscape. But substantial pruning and cleaning work will bring enormous changes. The old house has a surprisingly high living space with a large fireplace and thick exposed beams. Under the upper room that is faced with a concrete floor is a basement. The upstairs room is already equipped with PVC windows and shutters and plaster walls. The attic is usable and large enough to make rooms. There is just no good access yet. Furthermore, there is nothing, no sanitary facilities or kitchen, so you have to tackle everything. The barn consists of two parts that are separated by a stone wall. The part directly next to the house has a concrete floor and a mezzanine. Underneath this mezzanine a half-tiled space has been created that was to serve as a workspace. From the mezzanine there is a passage to the upper room and the attic of the house. The second part of the barn is still in its original state with a high middle part and two lower parts where the cows used to be and where the hay was stored above. There are two skylights in the new roof.
