Ready to move into

This property has been fully renovated from floor to roof by the current owners. Retaining original details and as a result an atmospheric home that can be lived in right away! You step into the living room. Striking details are the large fireplace and the joined walls. The openings of the former bread oven are still visible. In the left corner a simple kitchen has been realized. In the hallway you will find on the left a bathroom with a small bath and a sink. Next to it a separate toilet. On the other side of the corridor is an L-shaped room that is used as a playroom. In the corner a storage space has been created for the freezer and stock. The old garage / barn door could easily be replaced by a window, so that this room can also be used as an extra bedroom or office room. A floor above is a large bedroom above the living room. This has two small windows just above the floor and a skylight. There is a built-in wardrobe for clothing. Next to it a small bedroom with integrated storage space. This floor also has a toilet with sink. At the other end of the hallway also a spacious bedroom in L-shape. A number of stones from the former chimney have been retained as an atmospheric element. There is enough space in the leg for an extra (bunk)bed. This room also provides a storage cupboard. Under a part of the living space is a vaulted cellar that is accessible from outside. Opposite the house a small porch building, where it can be stored away from tools and garden furniture. The total plot covers 958 m². The part for the house is flat and is used as a terrace garden. The largest part of the garden is slightly higher and is surrounded by trees and shrubs. You will find shade spots here, but you can also fully enjoy the sun, given its location on the southwest. There is an additional access from the dead-end hamlet to this part of the garden. Because the garden is located higher than the road there is a beautiful view of the rolling landscape between the bushes. The house is located on the outskirts of a small hamlet, on a cul-de-sac. There are only two houses and a shed on this road that is also dead-end. The house is detached, but the adjacent house is only a few meters away. However, this house stands with its back to this house and is orientated on the east and has no window openings on the garden side. You are therefore completely private. From the house you can make various walks. The nearest shop and bakery are located in the village of Nedde. The large supermarket is located in Eymoutiers, which is about 20 minutes by car. The tourist Lac de Vassivière can also be reached within 20 minutes

Nedde

Nedde is a pretty village with a lively character. There is a bar-tabac where people often sit, there is a bar tabac with small shop for daily needs, and of course some restaurants. Several times a year, Nedde is in the spotlight because of a well known music festival. The big supermarket is at Eymoutiers, about 10 minutes away. Eymoutiers has a lively downtown with several restaurants. During the day there is much activity in the town. At lunchtime, most people find their way to the restaurants or the bar-tabac. A supermarket, bakers and butchers meet the everyday needs. You will also find, among others bank offices, an insurance company, the post office, a hardware store, florist and many hairdressers in the center. There is plenty to discover: the church, cinema, exhibition hall Paul Rebeyrolle, the mineral museum. On Saturdays you can take a stroll on the weekly market. Every first and third Thursday of the month, the big market (Foire) is being held on the main scquare. In addition, four times a year a theme market is held. For the sportive ones, there is the Plateau de Millevaches, several hiking trails, fishing in the Vienne, kayaking, a swimming pool and a tennis court. The Lac de Vassiviere, where you can swim, sail or just have a picnic at the many tables around the lake, is only 10 minutes away.
