Authentic house with barn in a hamlet

This property is located on the edge of a hamlet, in the middle of the Limousin countryside. The house has a central entrance with on the right a spacious kitchen (20 m²) with French doors to the terrace. On one side with a sink and several simple kitchen cupboards and a stove. Decoration needs upgrading! With this kitchen you can easily imagine how beautiful she can become after a paint job and with a new (corner) kitchen. There will still be enough room for a large dining table to enjoy your French dishes! On the other side of the entrance a living room with large granite fireplace. This room also has French doors to the terrace. If you install a wood-burning stove here, you will be able to heat the whole house comfortably. The entire ground floor is equipped with tiles, all rooms have a visible beamed ceiling. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms of 11, 12 and 13 m² respectively. The largest room has a built-in wardrobe, the middle room a dormer window and the smallest room a beautiful parquet floor. Both walls and ceiling have wallpaper. There is a simple bathroom with a bath and washbasin and a separate toilet. Under a part of the house is a non-steady cellar. The terrace is spread over the entire width of the house and increased in relation to the road ahead. You can enjoy the view over the rolling Limousin landscape from sunrise to sunset. The garden is fenced by a fence and a partially decayed stone wall. There is a shrub and a tree, otherwise it is lacking in the decoration of the garden. With some Hydrangeas or other (flowering) shrubs you can make a maintenance-friendly but (more) attractive garden without much effort. The house also has a barn of approximately 36 m² of floor space. This lies with the back to the house and is accessible from the other side. An intermediate wall has been placed. The left part has to be demoulded and the old floor boards and beams removed to be able to serve as storage space again. The barn is connected on one side to the barn of the neighbours. Both the house and the barn are equipped with a tiled roof. The house is neatly inhabited, but can use an update. You can also do this job room by room. The geyser in the kitchen needs to be replaced. There is an old septic tank, but the house can be connected to mains in the near future (2018-2019). There is no question of a busy main road, but you will occasionally see a car passing by. If you plant some shrubs in the front yard, you sit on the terrace without being seen. From the house you can make various walks. The nearest shop and bakery are located a few minutes away in the village of Nedde. The large supermarket is located in Eymoutiers, which is about 15 minutes away by car. The tourist Lac de Vassivière is within 10 minutes.

Several times a year, Nedde is in the spotlight because of a well known music festival. The big supermarket is at Eymoutiers, about 10 minutes away. Eymoutiers has a lively downtown with several restaurants. During the day there is much activity in the town. At lunchtime, most people find their way to the restaurants or the bar-tabac. You will also find, among others bank offices, an insurance company, the post office, a hardware store, florist and many hairdressers in the center. There is plenty to discover: the church, cinema, exhibition hall Paul Rebeyrolle, the mineral museum. On Saturdays you can take a stroll on the weekly market. Every first and third Thursday of the month, the big market (Foire) is being held on the main scquare. In addition, four times a year a theme market is held. For the sportive ones, there is the Plateau de Millevaches, several hiking trails, fishing in the Vienne, kayaking, a swimming pool and a tennis court.
