In addition to a Mairie, the village of Cheissoux has no facilities. The Auberge, which is located in a hamlet outside the village, is known in the direct vicinity for its good meals. For your groceries you go to the nearby Bujaleuf. There are several bakeries and restaurants, a butcher, post office etc. Every Friday morning there is a market (5 stalls) on the church square. In addition, Bujaleuf is known for its beautiful large lake, the Lac de Helene (70,000 m²) and the Feu d’artifice on the 13f of July. A supermarket is located in Peyrat le Chateau, about 15 minutes away, or the slightly more distant but significantly larger Eymoutiers. The city of Limoges is less than 45 minutes away, Limoges Airport is to be reached in less than one hour time.
