Chamberet


Chamberet is a lively village providing all necessary services. The village has a small supermarket, bakery, post office, pharmacy, hairdresser and several restaurants. And off course a bar/tabac for your daily journal. Every second Saturday of the month a petit marché (market) is held at the main square. In summer this market is held every week. The larger village Treignac is about 10 kilometers away. Treignac is an old town with its lovely winding streets, lake and nice restaurants. It also provides a large supermarket. It is an attractive area for hiking, cycling, fishing or parapente. The villages of Brive and Limoges are to be reached in 45 minutes drive. Both cities have an airport with (nearly) daily flights to the UK.
