On the ground floor, the house consists of a 28 sqm (300 ft2) L-shaped open-plan kitchen / lounge-diner with a built-in fireplace, exposed beamed ceiling and terracotta coloured tiled floor. There is also a 6 sqm (65 ft2) bathroom with a built-in bath, a wooden bathroom cabinet and toilet. Then on garden level a 16.5 sqm (177 ft2) bedroom with a tiled floor and French doors to the gravelled terrace. On the first floor, an 8 sqm (86 ft2) landing area with a skylight window that could be used as extra bedroom, office or TV room. Cellar to store tools, vegetables and more are garden level. Rooms are electrically heated. The property was entirely reinsulated in 2010, including walls and double-glazing throughout. Gravelled south-facing shaded terrace next to the house. Pretty enclosed lanscaped garden surrounded by meadows. Large 30+ sqm (330 ft2) wooden garage. A glass extension could be added to the back of the house that would connect with the kitchen / lounge-diner. The plot is 2,040m² (1/2 acre) and is located in a quiet hamlet with no immediate neighbour and no busy through-road. The property is only a few minutes from the village of Masseret, where you can get your daily shopping done, as it provides a supermarket, bakery, butcher, chemist and various restaurants. The lake of Lamongerie-Masseret, well known for its swimming and waterski-activities and a great spot for sunbathing by the beach or laying under the trees, is less than 10 minutes away.
