Hidden between trees and shrubs is this authentic house with its red shutters and outbuildings. The cottage consists of a ground floor where you enter the living room immediately. A large open area (34 m²) with tiled floor and new joined walls and a large chimney. A L-shaped kitchen, leaving space for a dishwasher and a gas cooker. The living room gives access to two (bed)rooms of 15,5 m², both with the old parquet flooring. The garden side space is connected to a large room with authentic walls. There is a door to the front of the house. Finally, the ground floor has a typical French bathroom with corner bath, sink and toilet. For all rooms, the (old) ceilings are still present. The floor is accessible via the staircase in the living room. For now, this is a large open space, with two exposed beams. Apart from the sides, the rails for the plasterboard are already fitted. There is also a new (flat) floor. Some of the radiators are fitted. The advantage is that the layout is still up to your needs and choice. On the side of the barn a damp problem because of broken tiles (roof of the barn). This part has to be redone. The front of the house is located to the south and offers the possibility for a nice large terrace. Some trees and shrubs provide shelter. Some of trees can be removed to ensure that you enjoy the view over the pastures from your terrace. Behind the house is a large barn of 10 * 23 meters. Unfortunately, a part of the roof has collapsed and is now dangerously loose. You can fully repair the side wall or just restore the side wall to the 4th beam and then rebuild it. La Croisille sur Briance


La Croisille sur Briance is a village with a central square with a small supermarket, pharmacy, a restaurant and a bar/café. There is also a bakery a little further along. The village has a public tennis court. La Croisille sur Briance is well known for its large market, held every 18th of the month, which attracts many visitors around the area. On the outskirts of the village is a swimming lake with a beach of which a part is deposed for the little swimmers. A large supermarket and other amenities are to be found in Chateauneuf la Foret, which is at less than 10 minutes distance. The center of Limoges is to be reached within 35 minutes drive. The airport is at 50 minutes distance, with almost daily flights to the UK.
