This old barn is located in a small and peaceful hamlet of the Millevaches En Limousin Regional Park. You can get to the hamlet via a local road where there isn't any through trafic. The barn's walls and roof frame are in a good state, but the roof itself needs changing, because it is only a simple corrugated roof. The building is east-west facing, with a footprint of 200 sqm (ca. 2200 sqft) and there is an adjoining open hangar of about 40 sqm (430 sqft). There is everything to build here, as it is not yet habitable, but what you get is a large open space, which is ideal to create a spacious living area. Electricity needs connecting up as well as water but the connections are on the edge of the property. There is no septic tank either. Most of the land is behind the building and is almost 3.700 sqm (close to an acre). It is a flat plot closed in by a simple fence and lined with trees and shrubs. Sussac


In Sussac you can get your bread and croissant twice a week in the depot-de pain. It has a beautiful lake where you can swim. There’s a little beach and some play tools for children around. In summer the area is surveyed by lifeguards. Every last Sunday of July, Sussac is visited by lots of locals and tourist because of its famous vide-grenier. The big supermarket is about 6 kilometers away in Châteauneuf la Forêt. This is a larger village with all amenities including a tea shop, bar/tabacs, cinema, bank office, pharmacy and several restaurants. Châteauneuf has a nice lake with beach, but also three tennis courts. Every second Sunday of the month, a Foire is held on the square in front of the church. Limoges is at 45 minutes distance. The airport is Limoges Bellegarde, to be reached within an hour drive, has regular flights to the UK.
